This unit replaced our old 1970's rescue vehicle. The original rescue truck and team was put together by long time founding member Paul Krasovec. It is operated by a highly trained team that regularly drills and trains together.

Marine 225

2002 Inflatable Zodiac

Marine 225 is used for water rescues at Round Valley Resevoir, the Delaware River, floods in Bound Brook and much more. It has been called to rescues in PA, NJ and NY. Shown here, the Chief (white shirt) thanks the three volunteers for getting the boat hitched up and ready for a standby at a local sporting event at Round Valley.

The boat is propelled by a 60HP Mercury 2 stroke outboard. It carries water rescue gear, a night vision camera, GPS and personal protective equipment.

The original water rescue team dates back to the 70's when Paramedic Walt Stepanchuk organized it.

This is our second recent boat, the other was sold to High Bridge Emergency Squad several years ago.
